Mykhaylo Mudryk started his football career with local Ukrainian team Metalist Kharkiv at the tender age of 9.
He spent four years at Metalist Kharkiv before moving on to join Dnipro Dnipropetrovsk in 2014. His performances for Dnipro Dnipropetrovs caught the eye of top Ukrainian club Shakhtar Donestk who would later sign him in the summer of 2016.
Senior Career

Mykhaylo Mudryk would spend two years playing for Shakhtar Donestk’s youth clubs before making the step-up to the senior squad He made his debut for the first team in a Ukrainian Cup clash against Olimpik Donetsk on the 31st of October 2018.
Mykhaylo Mudryk would spend time on loan with several Ukrainian clubs before establishing himself as a fully fledged first team player for Shakhtar Donestk in the 2021/2022 season.
International career
Mykhaylo Mudryk made his International debut with the Ukrainian U-17 team in 2017. He made the leap to the U-19 team in 2018 and made just 11 appearances before he was promoted to the U-21 side in 2019.
He received his first call up to the Ukrainian senior squad in April 2022 and made his debut on the 11th of May 2022 in a friendly match against Borussia Moncheglabach.
Playing style
Mykhaylo Mudryk is known for his creativity, quick turn of pace and sound dribbling ability on the ball. The winger is also comfortable with both feets which means he can operate on both the right and left flanks.
His flair and skill set on the ball has earned him the nickname ” The Ukrainian Neymar” due to a striking flamboyance he shares with Brazilian superstar Neymar jnr.

Mykhaylo Mudryk is an exciting player who in no doubt will be one of the future stars of his generation. The Ukrainian winger is however still very much a raw talent and still has alot of room for development. He will therefore need to be harnessed and guided properly if he is to reach his full potential as a Footballer.
