Arsen Zakharyan was born on the 26th of May ,2003 to his Armenian family who had fled their original home country to Russia after the Nagorno-Karabakh war that besieged Armenia between 1991-1994.
Youth Team(s)
Arsen Zakharyan started out his football career at the tender age of five after joining local side Krylia Sovetov Samara in 2008 where he spent 8 years before moving on to Konoplyov football academy in 2016.
His huge talent and mesmerising ability on the ball meant he will spend just one year in Konoplyov football academy before he was snapped up by Russian side Dynamo Moscow in 2017 where he spent three years playing for the youth side.
Senior Career
Arsen Zakharyan made his senior debut for Dynamo Moscow on the 1st of November 2020 coming on as a substitute against FC Tambov.
He featured more regularly in the 2020/2021 season after impressing on his debut and was voted as the Player of the Season by fans of club while he also was also awarded the Best Under-21 player award for the 2020/2021 season by the Russian Football Union.
He has since become a regular in Dynamo Moscow’s first team setup since then with the young midfielder making over 47 appearances with 11 goals to his name as the time of reporting.

International Career
Arsen Zakharyan received his first call up to the Russian national team on the 11th of May, 2021 but did not make his debut until the 1st of September, 2021 in a world cup qualifier against Croatia.
By so doing, he became the youngest outfield player in the Russian national team history breaking Alan Dzagoev’s previous record at 18 years, 3 months and 5 days and has been a mainstay in the Russian senior squad ever since then.
Style of play and position
Zakharyan is a versatile midfielder who can play across a number of positions in midfield, the youngster can is primarily a wide midfielder as he can hurt opposition players with his terrific pace and amazing tricky on the ball. However, he can also be deployed in the attacking or central midfield positions.
